BBL Chibuku Beer Gardens Contract
We are grateful to announce the contract award for the provision of Project Management services for the construction and completion of Chibuku beer gardens, in the southern region of Botswana by Botswana Breweries Limited (Pty) Ltd

This comes at the wake of a government regulation that prohibits the sale of traditional alcoholic drinks in homes. This has dealt a devastating blow to the future of BBL, an affiliate of SABMiller plc.A significant percentage sale of Chibuku is currently from home based shebeens owned by unlicensed traders. This regulation comes with a whole array of socio-economic issues which we, at Prolific Designs, are alive to and would rather not go into.

We are also alive to the urgency of the rollout of the construction and completion of the Chibuku Beer Gardens. We have therefore expeditiously mobilised our personnel and resources with no expense spared, to ensure a rapid delivery of the beer gardens.

Our mandate in this project goes beyond celebrating a contract award and its postulates; we see our involvement as playing a part in saving jobs of fellow countrymen and keeping a fellow trader in business. BBL’s contribution to our country’s economy over the years cannot be overemphisised. We, at Prolific Designs, are committed to go beyond the call of duty to see this project succeed.
